Tradovate Desktop, Web, and Mobile Platform Limitations
While Tradovate offers robust trading features, certain limitations apply:
-
Maximum Contracts per Order:
- The maximum number of contracts per order is 100.
- When trading in groups, the total number of contracts across all accounts must also not exceed 100 per order.
-
Action Limits in a 60-Minute Timeframe:
- Users can initiate up to 5,000 unique actions within a 60-minute window. Each action—placing, modifying, or canceling an order—is counted individually.
- When trading in groups, each trade on every account is treated as a separate action. For example, placing an order across 20 accounts will count as 20 separate actions.
- If you reach this limit, further actions will be blocked until the reset period.
-
Mobile Platform Account Visibility:
- The mobile platform displays a maximum of five accounts simultaneously.
