FOR TRADOVATE ACCOUNTS:
The issue is caused by your user reaching the request limits (too many operations taking place in a short period of time).
If you run into this again, please call the Tradovate Technical Support line and ask for the "Request Limit" to be reset for your APEX user ID.
FOR RITHMIC ACCOUNTS:
Always have RTrader open to watch your trailing threshold and to be able to close positions.
First, try to close a trade using RTrader Pro.
Simply login, click on positions, and click the X next to the position to close it.
For LAST RESPORT Emergencies ONLY--You can ALSO use the new Flatten All button in your members area see how to do this.
*** THE FLATTEN BUTTON on the Apex Trader Funding website is only meant as a last resort EMERGENCY option. This is not intended for use of closing all trades, day to day or frequent use. This is only if all other back up options have been exhausted. Overuse of this button can bottleneck the system and it should only be used possibly once or twice a month for an emergency. Traders that abuse the use of the Flatten Button may be banned from using it. The other steps for closing trades should be used first. If you are having repeated emergencies daily or weekly and needing to use the button, the issue lies elsewhere and you will need to take a fresh look at your trading computer, platform, internet service etc.

Be aware orders are stored on Rithmic or Tradovate. If you had an OCO order, this is good, as it will reach one of them and close it. But it is bad, as it may fill the other one, as it does not see it as an OCO. So, please have a VPS already setup beforehand, especially if you have lost internet or electric or have a pc issue.
